- Position Overview
- Deluxe Media Audio is seeking a Junior Audio Editor to undertake a variety of duties based in our Audio intercompany department. Assisting the Audio Operations Manager, you will have a variety of audio editing responsibilities to support our worldwide Audio departments. Duties include:
- Tracklaying-
- Clean up and sync-
- Full technical QC’s of material before it is despatched to clients-
- Conforming audio to different picture cuts-
- Ensure that all deliverables are complete & delivered on time-
- Make deliverables for all our major clients as requested per technical specs-
- General file management duties-
- Ingest all audio data onto our servers and systems throughout the facility-
- Archive appropriate audio material-
- Follow and comply with client audio checks upon request-
- Maintaining and updating client excel sheets/trackers-
- Liaising with clients, client service representatives and account managers- Key Requirements- Background in audiovisual and film production/distribution.-
- Basic Avid Pro-Tools knowledge and Mac user experience.-
- Basic Microsoft Excel & Word skills.-
- Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.-
- Accuracy and clarity in both written and verbal communication.-
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight delivery deadlines.-
- Capable of working in a team and being a very strong team player.-
- Available to work long hours and weekends to meet clients deadlines as requested. These hours could be at very short notice.-
