**PERSONAL ASSISTANT - Kirkintilloch**

**(Temp position)**

As a Personal Assistant to my 10 year old autistic, non-verbal son, your job will be to provide predominately social assistance to him. Your role is to enable him to be independent and participate in meeting other children outside of his home environment, achieve his potential, build friendships and take part in activities to increase his social interaction opportunities. He needs support to stay safe and requires help with some personal care. He is fun-loving and mischievous, he can also be stubborn so you will have to be firm but fun

It is a requirement, due to the nature of this role that any applicant must have been vaccinated against COVID 19 and evidence may be requested of this prior to start.

PVG Scheme Membership or Scheme Update required by successful applicant

**Hours per week: 5-6 hours on a Saturday 10-4 (flexible)**

**Rate of pay £13+ per hour**
