A portering/security service is provided in accordance with Trust policies, procedures
and practices, which is responsive to ward and department.
- As part of a multidisciplinary team, provide an effective, timely delivery and collection service which supports all aspects of clinical and non-clinical services.

Provide a high profile security service.
The security team provide a comprehensive car park service to the Hospital in all
weathers. They have considerable contact with staff, visitors, members of the public
and contractors. The Security Officer is a front line member of staff who assists in
providing this essential service, in what can be, difficult and stressful conditions.

Maintain a clean and tidy lodge. Make sure effective communication is maintained within the portering/security team
