Medical Receptionist

We are looking for someone to to join our friendly reception team. Could it be you?
- We are a medium sized GP practice based on the outskirts of Devizes. We are forward thinking and always trying to improve the services offered to our patients.
- Previous NHS experience an advantage but not essential.
- Flexibility is required due to the need to cover holiday/sickness when necessary throughout the year.

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, good numeracy and literacy skills, experience of working with the public both face to face and over the telephone; have the ability to work under pressure and in a busy environment, excellent computer skills.

The role involves working on rotation in our busy reception office, undertaking repeat prescriptions, scanning incoming mail, working on our reception desk, answering the telephone, processing requests from other practice staff.

Shortlisted applicants will be required to complete a short test on interview and will spend at least 30 mins with our reception team.

Hours of work would be:

- Monday 09:00 - 18:30 (1 hr for lunch)
- Tuesday 09:00 - 12:30
- Friday 09:00-12:30-13:00 - 18:30 (1 hr lunch)
- Interviews : Tuesday 14th March.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20.5 per week

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
