**JOB SUMMARY: To perform testing of various electronics PC & DSP setups**

**KEY DUTIES**
- To be able to test our audio engines which mainly comprise of a PC motherboard and an audio engine for audio routing and signal processing.
- To be able to operate our test systems as instructed on a PC or test documentation to program devices and carry out functional tests.
- To be able to understand when a product has failed or passed test and to use circuit diagrams to aid with fault finding faulty PCB assemblies.
- To familiarise yourself with all the general process procedures in the engine cell in which you will be working.
- To be able to use a PC to run software as instructed
- To be able to input data into the company database system and complete any appropriate documentation.
- To familiarise yourself with the times allowed for the activities you are performing to know what is expected to fulfil your daily targets. Any issues should be promptly reported to your supervisor.
- To always observe safety precautions in order not to put yourself or anyone else at risk.
- To ensure that your work area is always kept as tidy as possible.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Minimum HNC/HND in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or HNC/HND in Information Technology or Sound Engineering or equivalent qualifications

**EXPERIENCE AND KEY SKILLS**
- A good understanding of internals of a computer.
- Be versatile with the use of Windows operating system.
- Knowledge of CPU BIOS setup.
- Skilled and knowledgeable with testing and repairing electronic products, assemblies or PCBAs.
- Understanding of networking and IP addressing fundamentals.
- Knowledge of the basics of audio mixing.
- A good understanding of the technology used in Digital Audio mixers will be very helpful.
