Company Background
A global multidisciplinary engineering consultancy firm is looking for an **_EIA Lead._**
The company has an Environmental team that specializes in delivering sustainable building solutions and providing environmental consultancy services. The goal is to deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions that help clients reduce their carbon footprint, enhance the health and wellbeing of occupants, and minimize the impact on the environment.
Some of the notable projects that the Environmental team has taken part in include: The Stratford Halo, The Francis Crick Institute, Alder Hey Children's Hospital and The Crystal in London.
- Specialise in a particular EIA discipline such as ecology or contaminated land.
- Proven experience preferably in a consultancy environment.
Role Responsibilities
- A knowledge of Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
- Assist with the production of fee proposals.
- Technical and managerial assistance on environmental projects.
- Work as part of teams preparing EIAs and associated management plans in compliance with applicable requirements.
- Perform project delivery activities such as report writing, undertaking and organizing data collection, performing data and literature review, developing recommendations for clients, and conducting field work.
- Work within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments.
- Work in a collaborative way with engineers, clients and other relevant stakeholders during field activities.
- Training and mentoring of junior staff.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
