We are a Pentecostal Christian church in West Yorkshire, a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) worldwide.

Are you a caring, committed person looking to serve in a vibrant, flourishing church community? We're thrilled to announce an available position for a **Minister of Religion**. We seek an individual who's enthusiastic about sharing God's love, has a passion for ministry, and can preach and teach the word of God following RCCG religious doctrine.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepares and delivers sermons and bible teaching in churches, seminars, and conferences.
- Uphold the Parish Pastor in leading and overseeing the church's spiritual growth and development.
- Engage in pastoral care and counselling for members of the congregation, providing guidance and support in times of need.
- Performs marriages, baptisms, and other special church celebrations.
- Contribute to planning and conducting worship services, prayer meetings, and other church gatherings.
- Collaborate with various church ministries to enhance their effectiveness and impact on the community.
- Help in the organisation and implementation of community outreach programmes and evangelism efforts.
- Contribute to developing discipleship programmes to nurture spiritual growth among church members.
- Participate in minister meetings and work closely with other church leaders to achieve the church's vision and mission.

**Qualifications**:

- A genuine relationship with Jesus Christ and a solid commitment to the Christian faith.
- An ordained minister in a recognised Christian denomination (Preferrable RCCG).
- Knowledge and understanding of RCCG doctrines.
- Previous experience in pastoral or ministry roles is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a willingness to work collaboratively with the church leadership team.
- Ability to handle sensitive pastoral situations with empathy, confidentiality, and wisdom.
- Passion for serving the local community and engaging in outreach efforts.
- Demonstrate good organisational, planning, and communication skills
- Be fluent in the English language.
- Knowledge of Nigerian languages is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Updated CV with relevant ministry experience and educational background.

**Salary**: £21,500.00-£22,500.00 per year
