In this role you will drive the development of the global pricing and market access strategy for assigned key brands through their lifecycle. As a proactive partner you will interact with all relevant internal stakeholders (Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, RWE-HEOR, Marketing & Commercial, Regulatory Affairs,). You ensure that the available clinical evidence is optimized, leading to timely pricing and reimbursement negotiations across all key markets. You will continually innovate with the regional and affiliate-based market access community to enhance market access conditions.
We have a preference for our future colleague to be based in one of our top 5 markets in Europe (France, Germany, UK, Spain, Italy).
Your day at Ferring
This role is critically important for Ferring as it establishes the foundations for all future product sales, and optimized launch prices are the single greatest factor in determining profitability.- Provide a market access assessment by delivering key insights through payer research and other secondary analytics- Develop the optimal global pricing & market access strategy by partnering cross-functionally- Deliver all core market access materials required to support local affiliate access / reimbursement activities including Core Value Proposition, Global Value Dossier, Negotiation Strategy & Training- Identify emerging trends and government legislation that might impact future access conditions; evaluate the implications and business risk & opportunity and recommend strategies, adapt innovative approaches that will ensure patient access to Ferring brands under optimal pricing and reimbursement conditions- Support regions and local affiliates to implement market access and pricing strategies aligned with global commercial strategy- Build and maintain broad business networks (internally and externally) to ensure positively impact market access, pricing, and reimbursement.- Proactively manage assigned project budgets- Contributes to the development of and successful delivery of function-specific excellence and innovation projects/initiatives- Travelling is required in this role approx. 25%, mainly within Europe, to HQs in Copenhagen and/or Geneva
Behind our innovation There’s you- Mandatory solid Market Access and Pricing experience from the pharmaceutical industry and/or consultancy companies- More than 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related consultancy with focus in Market Access, Pricing & Reimbursement preferable at a global level, can be also at regional (Europe, Asia, US) and/or local level.- Post-graduate degree in life-science related discipline (medicine, pharmacy, bio-medical sciences, health economics, epidemiology)- It is a plus if you have HEOR experience- Fluent in English- Entrepreneurial spirit, dynamic and resilient- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and make sound pricing and market access recommendations-
- General experience in commercialization and drug development- Exhibits excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively write and deliver presentations to professionals at all levels within Ferring- Experience in leading cross-functional teams preferred- Demonstrated relationship building at all levels of the organization and across geographies- Recognized as a team player with excellent interpersonal skills who is flexible and agile- Displays sound ethics and a fit for Ferring’s core values
