**Allianz are looking to hire a Voice and Collaboration Tool Lead for a key role within the business. The purpose of the role is to optimise Allianz’s workplace and telephony environments, enhancing the business functions mobile, collaboration and productivity environments. The role governs, plans, organises and manages the outsourced operation of the organisation's IT workplace services.**

This will entail (in conjunction with suppliers) developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimising operating system and telecommunications systems including associated hardware, software and tools. The role supports the collaboration between the IT function, Allianz business functions and design - balancing the needs of the business and technical viability.

The Workplace Manager reports into the Head of Cloud & Infrastructure, supporting the optimal operational governance of outsourced management of Allianz’s IT workplace. In this capacity, the role holder will collaborate with third party suppliers responsible for the delivery of workplace operations and support services to ensure services remain available, secure and meet the needs of the Business.

The role supports delivery of a high quality, stable, secure and cost-efficient IT workplace for the business. This will involve design, implementation, support and security of the Allianz UK workplace environment including workplace tools such as desktop, laptop, mobile etc. This role works closely alongside colleagues in IT infrastructure to ensure that solutions are aligned to deliver an efficient and functional end user experience.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Governance and management of Suppliers and Outsource Partners to deliver a high quality Workplace experience.
- Ownership and maintenance of the IT Workplace, support activities and Tools of the Allianz IT service catalogue and Service Levels
- Governance and Management of Workplace software via the Desktop Software Advisory Board (DSAB)
- Governance and Management of the IT Workplace Asset Management Activities
- Key contribution to the delivery of IT workplace Roadmap & IT Workplace Projects
- Telephony Availability and Capacity Reporting Governance and Management of Telephony software via the Telephony Advisory Board (DSAB)
- Governance and Management of the Telephony Asset Management Activities
- Key contribution to the delivery of IT Telephony Roadmap & IT Telephony Projects
- IT Telephony Availability and Capacity Reporting
- In conjunction with IT Service Continuity Management, IT Infrastructure Disaster Recovery Planning and Testing
- Working closely with IT Security Operations to ensure the security of IT Workplace systems
- IT Workplace Risk and Control management
- Working closely with the Head of Infrastructure Delivery, IT Director, Allianz UK Architecture team and Allianz Technology Technical Consultants.

**Technical Skills**
- Deep understanding of IT workplace, Telephony, data centre, network and telecommunications infrastructure architectures and operations both within the insurance and market generally
- Understanding of work place collaboration tools
- Understanding of IT risk management processes
- Management of third parties - especially offshore
- Deep understanding of outsource vendor governance and management practices
- Deep understanding of IT security management processes, practices and technology
- Extensive experience in enterprise security architecture design
- IT contract & License management and negotiation
- Maintaining technical service documentation

**Experience**
- Extensive experience of IT workplace, data centre, network and telecommunications infrastructure architectures and operations both within the insurance and market generally
- Extensive experience of IT risk management processes
- Understanding of outsource vendor governance and management practices
- Experience in IT contract & License management and negotiation
- Understanding of outsource vendor governance and management practices
- Understanding of IT security management processes, practices and technology
- Experience in enterprise security architecture design
- Excellent communication skills; approachable; authoritative; diplomatic; demonstrates empathy; strong focus on performance measurement, management and talent development
