Bartender/mixologist - Haslem Hotel

**The Haslem Group** are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused **Bartenders **to join our team at **The Haslem Hotel**, Lisburn. As a Bartender, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional experiences to our guests, providing attentive and efficient service.

**Key responsibilities in this role**:
Customer Service:

- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take orders accurately and provide menu recommendations when needed.
- Serve beverages promptly and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Address customer enquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner.

Food and Beverage Knowledge:

- Have knowledge and understanding of the menu, including ingredients/ allergens.
- Make suggestions and upsell items to enhance the guest dining experience.
- Ensure all special requests and dietary restrictions are communicated to the kitchen.

Teamwork:

- Collaborate with colleagues to provide seamless service and complete other tasks as required.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.

Compliance and Safety:

- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Follow alcohol service policies and check identification when serving alcohol.

Cash Handling:

- Handle cash and payments accurately, including processing credit card transactions.
- Maintain a balanced cash register and provide change as needed.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a food and beverage service role preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Weekend availability to include Friday and Saturday on rotational basis.
- Must be aged 18+ due to working and serving alcohol.
- Previous experience in a high paced bar environment.

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
