**Your new role**
Reporting to the Chief Stakeholder Officer, the Head of Communications will also work with the Executive and Senior Management Teams in order to bring together the strategic communications plan and support the implementation of the communications strategy,both internally and externally.
You will act as an internal consultant to enhance communications across the organisation, finding key messages for audiences, and improving the impact of, and engagement with information and content.
You will also be responsible for ensuring communications remain fit for purpose as the company's needs develop and change.
Other duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Develop and maintain the requirements of external media presence, including website and social media. Manage the communication resources effectively and efficiently, supporting colleagues to achieve the aims of Brunel by delivering the communications plansuccessfully.
- Contribute to the management and resolution of client queries and Freedom of Information requests and facilitate information sharing between Brunel and stakeholders, including identifying any trends and incorporating required resolution or opportunity actionsto them into the communications plan.
- Support the storage, coordination, publishing and delivery of client reporting and presentations.
- Work closely with the other stakeholders to understand all external relationships to facilitate and enable delivery of effective communications in a variety of communication mediums to maximise the impact of our messages.

**What you'll need to succeed**
This role will suit a Senior Communications professional with proven experience of working within a regulated environment and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels within an organisation. You will have excellent writingand editing skills and be extremely organised. Self confidence and embracing diversity are a must
