We are recruiting for the following position to join our branch in **Keady**:
**Pharmacy Assistant (32-40 hours per week)**

**Duties will include**:

- Accepting prescriptions for filing, gathering and processing labels using IT systems.
- Taking telephone enquiries and referring callers to the pharmacist when necessary.
- Operating stock control to include the ordering and rotation of goods.
- Informing customers on all health and associated products including over the counter
medication, minor ailments and services offered by the Pharmacy.
- Promoting new and current product ranges using appropriate selling techniques.
- Money handling and till operation.
- Merchandising products and general upkeep of shop floor.
- Other duties as directed by the Pharmacy Manager.

**We want to hear from you if you are**:

- Hard working and enthusiastic,
- Fully flexible Monday to Friday 9:00-6:00 and Saturday 9:00-5:30 (Saturday in
accordance with branch rota),
- Able to demonstrate excellent communication and selling skills,
- Interested in Retail, Pharmacy and Customer Service,
- Interested in career development and progression and be willing to undertake relevant
qualifications.

**Previous experience in a pharmacy or sales related environment is an advantage but not essential.**
