Criminal Justice Recovery Worker

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide support and guidance to individuals in the criminal justice system to aid in their recovery journey
- Develop and implement individualized recovery plans
- Conduct assessments to identify needs and goals for each client
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Educate clients on relevant topics such as public health, medical terminology, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Facilitate group sessions and workshops to promote recovery and well-being
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to resources
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and interventions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience working with individuals in the criminal justice system or similar populations
- Knowledge of public health principles and medical terminology
- Strong communication skills, including public speaking abilities
- Ability to educate and empower individuals towards recovery
- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards clients' needs
