**Main function of role**:
To produce machined parts by setting up, and operating Multi Axis CNC Mills/Turning Centre.

To ensure products made by CW meet both our clients and the company’s requirements whilst adhering to all applicable Quality and Health & Safety legislation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Setup and operate 3-5th Axis Mills with Sinumerik Shopmill 828D and 840D SL
- Understand technical drawings
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
- Inspect produced components - included 1st off’s
- Maintain machine and equipment
- Maintain accurate time clocking records
- Perform regular housekeeping to maintain the working environment
- To adhere to the Company Health and Safety policy and always wear appropriate PPE
- fashion and to support all the teams with which they have contact in achieving the Company's objectives.

**Essential requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years experience.
- Experience with Shopmill or/and Shopturn would be an advantage, but not necessary as Fanuc, Heidenhain is easily transferable to Sinumerik ShopMill

**PLEASE NOTE**: In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the jobholder may be required to perform other tasks or duties commensurate with the role, as reasonably requested by their manager from time to time.

**Salary**: £17.00-£19.00 per hour
