Imperial Personnel are recruiting for a Transport Planner to join our client in Bedford, MK43 on a full-time basis. Our client is a reputable building materials company that manufacture and distribute cement, ready-mix concrete and aggregate.

The ideal applicant would be an individual with experience of managing a team, and analysing data to ensure customer orders are to the agreed specification and on-time.

**Hours and Pay**:
Monday - Friday

8am - 5pm

Saturday mornings on a rota basis.

£26,000 - £27,000

**Responsibilities**:

- Take customer orders for locally shipped plants through multichannel (telephone and digitally).
- To manage programmed orders and services.
- To manage daily plant and truck capacities.
- Liaise with plant managers and hauliers to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Ability to modify in-process orders at customer request.
- Manage late loads, including notice of the issues to relevant parties with timely notice.
- Resolve customer issues/complaints or changes proactively in the requested order.

**Requirements**:

- SAP experience - desirable quality.
- Experience in planning the workload of drivers/dispatch of products.
- Experience in Home Counties geographical areas
- Customer service experience.
