**Job description**:
The role of the junior buyer will be to review, confirm availability and process Purchase Requisitions to meet the business requirements. The role is a great opportunity for somebody who is looking to develop a career in procurement.

The roles and responsibilities will be to
- Liaise other internal departments to drive through any quality, delivery, cost or planning requirements to meet the business production requirements

Manage the end to end Orderbook Process with allocated suppliers

Manage Internal and External Stakeholder relationships

Keep MRP up to date with supplier updates

Signals flaws in approaches, methods, procedures and processes and suggests improvements

Proactively escalate issues that will cause a late to MRP and concerns through the Daily Procurement meetings or as otherwise appropriate

Attend Shop floor daily meetings to update the business

Contributes to projects and supports team objectives as a team member

Update pricing and or delivery date information in the procurement system when approved

Identify, drive through and execute savings opportunities
- A keen interest in procurement or supply chain

Have an analylitical and methodical approach

Work well in a team
