**Transport Planner**

We are currently look for a Transport Planner to join an ever-growing East Yorkshire based national online retailer. The business has grown significantly over the last 10 years and have taken the garden landscaping lifestyle sector by storm nationally across the UK.

The roles itself focuses on supporting the local side of our Transport department. This is an amazing opportunity to join a forward thinking business and take your career to the next level. We are looking for a hard-working individual who will be assisting the Transport Manager as part of the Transport Team.

**The Role**:
*Effectively planning multi-drop routes whilst maintaining key focus on WTD regulations.

*Liaising with various site managers to ensure production is kept in line within the transport requirements

*Organising drivers collections

*Organising stock transfers between sites.

*Speak to customers regarding deliveries.

*Organising driver rota’s

**The Person**:
*Previously worked as a driver would be ideal

*Good geographical knowledge

*Experience in multi-drop routes

*Knowledge of vehicles

*Have a good telephone manner and feel confident taking customer calls

*Have a positive attitude with the willingness to learn.

*Be able to prioritise their work load and work to a time-frame

*Be competent using a computer.

*Able to work independently and be able to work alongside a Team.

Wage dependent on experience

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Goole: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
