Five Education is supporting a PRU school (Pupil referral unit) in Bath and we are looking for resilient and pro-active Teaching Assistants. You will be supporting children with SEMH, high functioning Autism, and ACEs (Adverse childhood experiences). Someexperience of trauma and additional needs is desirable and the role involves both group work and one-to-one support throughout the day. This role is both part-time or full-time, working five days a week between 8.30-3.30.
Responsibilities and duties:

- Supporting the students in the classroom
- Assisting the students in their work
- Working 1:1
- Supporting the students social and emotional development, including appropriate responses and building relationships
- Implementing behaviour management tools in line with the school's policy
Essential Criteria:

- Experience
- A flexible and resourceful approach
- Patient and able to relate to the student
- You will be able to demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
- Have a right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa)
- Two recent child based references and relevant DBS/ Police checks
- Access to bicycle, car, or near main bus routes.
