Distribution Planner

Imperial Personnel have a fantastic opportunity for a Distribution Planner to join our client in Avonmouth, Bristol on a full-time and temp-to-perm basis. Our client is a global waste management, specialising in water network management and environmental monitoring.

**The Role**:
**Duties**:

- To coordinate and plan project activities within the team working with other stakeholders to deliver agreed changes to ways of working.
- To research, identify and implement changes or improvements to distribution systems and processes.
- Engage with other stakeholders to promote of our clients Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Assisting with the integrity of data within the TMS and related systems.
- Extracting data accurately from systems to utilise this build relevant reporting.
- Have open communication with stakeholders regularly to update them on business developments.

**Hours and Pay**:
08:00am - 16:30pm 37.5 hours

Weekend/Bank Holiday work will be required from time to time and on call rate will be paid in these cases.

£30,000 - £35,000

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of the waste industry.
- An excellent understanding of logistics and distribution operations.
- Transport Operations CPC - National and International.
- An in-depth knowledge of the Steadtler TSM System and MM.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- A proven history of persuading and influencing other stakeholders.
- Financially aware.
