**Job overview**:
We are looking for an efficient and organised Administrator to support to our multi-faith and belief Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care service.
The Administrator will provide professional, comprehensive and confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Chaplaincy team. In addition to running the Chaplaincy office, the Administrator will sometimes be the first point of contact for the Chaplaincy service, for visitors to the office and people who phone. They will require strong communication skills and be comfortable with speaking with people who may be anxious or distressed.
**Main duties of the job**:
Clerical and administrative support to the Chaplaincy team, including: use of the Electronic Patient Record to create visiting lists or discharge patients from service; assisting managers in creating and distributing rotas; creation and distribution of publicity materials; maintaining a safe and welcoming environment in the Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care centre.

- GCSE English Language or equivalent
- NVQ2 in Administration or equivalent
- IT Skills Qualification or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience
**Desirable criteria**:
- RSA level two or equivalent
**Knowledge, Skills Training and Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:
- Experience of using Microsoft Office.
- Experience in an administrative role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of working within tight deadlines.
**Desirable criteria**:
- Experience of using Patient Centre.
- Previous experience of the DATIX system
- Knowledge of EPR (Electronic Patient Record)/Evolve
- Previous Experience in a medical / social care background.
