Get trained to become a Healthcare assistant and NVQ2 dispensing assistant whilst getting paid to work.

Full training provided to acheive NVQ Level2 Dispensing Qualification approved by GPhc.

Your tasks include dealing with prescriptions and customers and working both at the counter and in the dispensary. You will be supported by the pharmacist and trained dispensers.

No previous experience required.

You will be trained during the duration of your apprenticeship to carry out the following duties:

- Sale of over-the-counter medicines
- Ordering stock
- using the pharmacy dispensing system to label prescriptions
- Processing payments
- To maintain a clean and tidy working environment
- Learning to help provide additional services as they become available
- Good communication skills
- Willing to learn and develop new skills
- Reliable and empathetic
- Team player

The apprenticeship program takes 12 months to complete.

When completing your apprenticeship you will receive a Level 2 NVQ, which will allow you to work as a fully qualified dispensing assistant, and act as a gateway to further career development, such as NVQ level
