Winners Recruitment is currently working on behalf of a renowned family-run visitor attraction and production house to find a dedicated individual for the role of **Beverage Technician / Brewer.** This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to be a part of a thriving business with a rich heritage and exciting future.
- **Working Hours**: Flexible 12-hour shifts, typically from 6am to 6pm, on a 4-on, 4-off continuous pattern, totaling an average of 40.25 weekly hours.
- **Salary**: Starting salary of £11.40 per hour with opportunities for progression.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Hands-on involvement in the production process from raw materials to finished products, which include ciders, wines, fruit juices, spirits, and preserves.
- Ensure adherence to relevant procedures while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to execute the production plan set by management.
- Complete assigned tasks with attention to detail and promptly report any discrepancies.
- Work closely with the Quality Team to uphold product quality standards.
- Receive training and certification in all departmental aspects, covering processes and packing, and provide coverage as needed.
- Prioritize safety and follow site procedures for safe and efficient operations.
- Take ownership of personal training and development, actively seeking opportunities for upskilling.
- Contribute to hygiene, housekeeping, health, safety, environment, and food safety improvements.
- Demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude towards additional tasks or responsibilities.
**Experience**:
- Experience with HACCP/Quality systems.
- Previous experience in cider/wine making and food and drink production environments.
- Familiarity with Health and Safety best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a small team with mínimal supervision.
**Ideal Qualifications**:
- Level 2 Food Safety and Level 2 HACCP certifications.
- IBD General Certificate in Cider Making (desirable).
**Skills Requirements**:
- Strong problem-solving skills and balanced judgment.
- Self-motivated with flexibility in task approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable with numerical data and bespoke computer systems.
- Technically minded with a willingness to learn about the beverage production process.
