Elevation Recruitment is recruiting for a standalone HR role within a successful and growing SME in Sheffield which has doubled in size over the last 2 years and has continued growth plans.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a family run business in the implementation and continuation of HR and Recruitment policies into the business.

Duties for the HR Manger/Coordinator include:

- Recruitment of all roles including office, warehouse and drivers including advertising and vetting
- To engage and fulfil disciplinary procedures with advise from external HR Company consultancy
- Work closely with the external HR consultancy
- To issue staff contracts of employment and offer letters
- To be responsible for sending and tracking reference requests, Right to Work Checks and relevant qualification
- Maintain trackers and systems for various HR processes from recruitment and selection to updating employee records i.e. absence tracking etc.
- Monitor the probation review process and issuing the relevant probation outcome letter
- First point of contact for any general enquiries
- Lead appraisal meetings with all staff
- Helping with any occupational health referrals
- Lead and take minutes in any meetings e.g. disciplinaries, absence reviews, Return to Work
- Manage the employee exit process ensuring all leavers receive an exit interview survey
- Performance tracking
- Holiday request management

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a HR role within a similar environment e.g. manufacturing, wholesalers
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and reschedule according to business needs
- Strong time management with ability to manage multiple tasks
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
