**Site Supervisor** to carry out general duties to ensure an efficient and continuous stream of materials through the site, whilst supervising the team based in
**London**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the daily running of the team.
- Ensure pre-start checks are carried out on the mobile and fixed plant.
- Ensure the team carries out essential daily maintenance including greasing, washing, and cleaning.
- Sort and prepare materials for recycling.
- Operate and maintain plant, machinery, and vehicles including forklift trucks, mobile plant, and other plant equipment.
- Manual handling of stock, parts, and equipment.
- Operate in a safe manner at all times, in line with the company's Health and Safety policy.
- Allocation of staff to best meet the day-to-day requirements of the plant.
- Ensure the area is kept environmentally compliant.
- Maintain a stock of plant consumables to minimise downtime.
- Ensure all staff are adhering to PPE Requirements, SOPs, and health and safety procedures.

**Skills/knowledge**:

- Excellent leadership skills.
- Ability to create effective working relationships.
- Planning and organisation skills.
- Prioritise workload accordingly.
- Experience in the waste industry.
