PCB Inspector

Meridian Business Support is recruiting for a PCBA Inspector for a local electronics company based in Newcastle Under Lyme.

**Main responsibilities**:
To inspect PCBs to IPC-A-610, class 3 to ensure quality of product using the magnification equipment and AOI
To liaise with other production teams
To assist and support production technicians by discussing faults and findings
To manage and resolve inspection queries
To complete all NCR paperwork
To monitor build, quality and to report quality issues as necessary
To action rework as necessary
To carry out general production work where needed
To maintain accurate process data/records/documentation associated with your work
To adhere to health and safety standards, quality standards, policies and procedures
To adhere to the production schedule
To adhere to operational procedures and production timelines
To carry out lean manufacturing processes and 5S
To provide improvement ideas to the Production Supervisor
To collaborate with technical and quality departments when required Essential
Knowledge of component identification codes such as resistors, capacitors and ICs
The ability to interpret technical specifications and information

Job Details

**Location**: Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, UK

**Hours**: 39 hours per week
Monday to Thursday - 8.5 hours
Friday - 5 hours

**Salary**: £10.81ph

**Holidays**: 20 days plus Bank Holidays (increases by 1 day per year worked to 6 days extra)
