Here at Volmary Ltd we are looking for a highly motivated Despatch Controller to control all movement of plant trolleys. You will be required to:

- Ensure all paperwork is meticulously recorded on trolley sheets and CMR (The CMR paperwork is an international trolley and shelf exchange system) paperwork inbound and outbound.
- Keep drivers informed of outstanding customer balances for their loads that they need to collect during delivery.
- Backup all paperwork transactions on a computer database.
- Ensure Volmary and ALL other drivers check and agree to outbound trolley and shelf count on their load and sign to accept load count.
- Collect return trolley tickets received from drivers and reconcile against returned stock and record on database.
- Ensure larger 3rd party transactions are monitored and reconciled weekly and any discrepancies dealt with immediately.
- Complete a monthly stock & reconciliation.
- Sort and separate broken shelves and bases and organise their return with Transport and Logistics Manager
- Work with transport and Logistics Manager to continually review and improve systems
- Ensure trolley area is kept tidy and organised.
- Assist Despatch Co-ordinator to ensure all loads are ready on time for loading. Loads must be packed in run order as efficiently as possible without damaging the plants. Loading to be prioritised based on run sheet information.
- Loading & unloading of vehicles - ensure any out of hours requirements are covered within your working hours.
- Ensure sufficient cover is in place on non-working days.

**Person Specification**
- Numerate with an attention to detail.
- RTITB Forklift Trained - preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
- Full Valid Driving Licence
- Ability to respond accurately and efficiently.
- Courteous, and professional communicator.
- Ability to work unsupervised, to complete assigned department and customer tasks.
- Ability to work to and meet tight deadlines.
- Team player (essential).
- Time management crucial and ability to prioritise workload.

**OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION**:

- Physically able to move and carry out practical horticultural tasks (if required).
- Have the ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines at peak times of the year, including long days when required.

39 hours per week, Sunday - Thursday 09:00 - 17:45 (Peak Season - Feb - May) Mon - Fri (Non Peak - June - Jan)

Overtime is paid at time and half.
