WasteRecruit are pleased to be working with Greyparrot AI to support their recruitment of a Waste Analysis Consultant.

Greyparrot are a sector leading innovator, who supply an AI waste recognition system that enables MRFs and other reprocessors to monitor, audit and sort large scale waste flows. They believe that increasing the transparency and automation of resource management will lead to an acceleration in the circular economy. Their camera and AI software is currently used in recycling plants and waste facilities in both the UK and international locations.

Greyparrot have created the role of Waste Analysis Consultant to support the data analytics, advance the understanding of resource streams, and support the business development function.

We are looking for an individual with practical knowledge and experience of MRFs, and both their sorting processes, and the materials processed, to support the ongoing development of the Greyparrot AI waste recognition system.

The Waste Analysis Consultant sits within the data team and the role requires an inquisitive and analytical nature. Key to the role is an ability to guide the data teams understanding of the analysis which needs to be carried out. Data analysis is an important element of the role, but a deep, technical, understanding of data analysis is less important. The ability to work with large datasets can be developed further within the role.

This person needs to be passionate and inquisitive about technological developments within the sector. You will be an effective communicator and have the ability to influence internal stakeholders in a clear and effective manner. This role requires a conscientious and driven individual with a keen eye for detail and a desire to achieve high levels of quality with their work.

As a startup, the business is fast paced and this person will be involved in various aspects of the business, both technical and commercial, so adaptability is important. The head office is in London, so if you are within a commuting distance it is possible to be office based, but the majority of the workforce is largely remote.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
