**£17-£18 per hour / 50 hours per week**

Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from mechanical fitters and plant fitters interested in working in a full time PAYE role based in Sittingbourne, Kent.

Carrying out a range of tasks on mechanical processing plant equipment including but not limited to: conveyors, shredders, shovels and excavators, you will work to a high standard and at all times in line with Health & Safety requirements.

**Job Duties**
- Inspections, fault diagnosis, testing, repairing and reassembling mechanical processing plant at a busy processing facility.
- Assist on an emergency call out rota.
- Participate on planned shutdowns.
- Contracted hours are 50 per week between 6am-6pm.
- Comply at all times with Health, Safety, HR and Environmental policies and procedures.

**Engineer Profile**
- Mechanical Engineering background.
- Ideally experience working on construction plant or diesel plant machines.
- Experience working on processing machinery such as conveyors, shredders or similar would be advantageous.
- Based in Kent or if not, able to commute to Sittingbourne.
- Flexibility to work overtime as and when required.
