**Production and Marketing Specialist** - _you’ll be speaking to our clients and potential clients around the world, and then working hard to ensure all logístical aspects of our group tours are planned and delivered to perfection_

**Main Responsibilities**
- Supplier relationship management: Maintain a positive and constructive relationship with existing and potential suppliers to provide an exceptional and authentic customer experience
- Source, contract, & book: Identify, acquire, and allocate all services and suppliers for relevant components
- Product Development: We are always looking to improve the quality of our experiences, so you'll assist in this process
- Tour Director relationship management: Tour preparation and support, Tour Director community engagement and consultation, and ongoing incorporation of Tour Director feedback
- Overall Customer Experience: Production planning, ensure seamless tour flow and consistency and ensure we meet our high standards to deliver perfect educational tours
- Quality analysis: Rigorous and constant analysis of, and response to, quality results
- Administrative: Ensure all contracts, bookings, invoices, and supplier communications are well-managed and that all safety and budget guidelines are adhered to
- Processes and documentation: create and keep updated all relevant documentation

**Qualifications**
- Fluent in English.
- Experience in travel, tourism, educational travel or online travel agency industry is preferred
- Strong interest and network in the local tourism industry
- Passion for travel
- Strategic mindset whilst actively engaged to run day-to-day sourcing priorities
- Solution oriented, open-minded and driven
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and comfortable with working autonomously
- Strong communication and social skills
- Strong skills in MS Excel. You must be detailed orientated and comfortable planning complex logistics

**Working at Visit University**

Visit University is a fast-growing educational travel company, focusing on serving our international school clients and others. We work with international high schools to plan educational tours for their students. Our tours take place in the UK, USA and Europe and our groups come from Hong Kong, Japan, USA and many other countries.

This role will be based in our office in the west end of Glasgow

This role is for an initial period of 6 months (1 November 2023 - 30 April 2024)

**Job Types**: Temp to perm, Part-time
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
