Bilingual Head of International Sales
Location: Bedford
Hybrid work with 2 days a week in the office
**Salary**: between £60,000 and £80,000 depending on experience plus car allowance and bonus
Background in the food or packaging sector required
Fluent in one or more languages: German, French, Italian or Spanish essential

An award-winning British designer and manufacturer of packaging solutions providing innovative products to a variety of industries.
Main duties:
Working within the European territories, using your language skills (bilingual or trilingual in either German, French. Italian or Spanish) you will lead and manage key account managers, agents and distributors to ensure sales targets are met and exceeded ensuring customers are acquired and provided with outstanding service.
The role:
- Be in charge for the European Territories which include dealing with distributors and end users
- Direct management of key accounts and act at point of escalation if needed
- Develop sales strategies ensuring these are successfully executed
- Be responsible for the growth and expansion of the customer base within Europe identifying prospective new markets
- Understand customer needs building strong relationships presenting products and services as needed
- Be in charge of direct sales for the European Territories
- Increase sales opportunities through proposals and presentations
- Liaise with internal departments and teams to ensuring effective and efficient sales, marketing, service and credit is upheld
- Be responsible for all cost evaluations, budgets, pipeline development and business retention
- Provide detailed sales forecasting and reports to management
- Continuously research and maintain knowledge of products, market trends and competitors
- Ensure policies, terms and conditions are adhered to
- Participate and attend event and tradeshows
- be responsible for the selection, developing and training team members ensuring regular reviews and feedback are held
- Fluent in one or more languages: German, French, Italian or Spanish essential
- Degree educated
- Background in the food or packaging sector required
- Experience in Sales working either as a Sales Executive or Sales Manager needed
- Experience in leading or managing a team necessary
- Proven track record of increasing sales and exceeding targets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and present
- Driven, ambitious and motivated
The salary: between £60,000 and £80,000 depending on experience plus car allowance and bonus
Pay: Up to £80,000.00 per year
Schedule:
