We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician for an environmental services provider based in Harrow.
You will be responsible for carrying out HGV maintenance and repair, making sure that you complete your work to the highest standard. Using your technical knowledge with confidence and initiative you will be trusted to work alone but with a whole support teamaround you.
You must hold a recognised qualification such as City and Guilds, IRTEC, NVQs or be time served. You will preferably have experience of working on HGV Chassis, Road Sweepers and Specialist Mounted vehicles and fault code diagnostic equipment.
A HGV Category C driving licence would be advantageous so that you can collect and deliver vehicles between sites and test centres, although this is not essential.
This is a permanent role and available immediately. The salary is £20.00 per hour + overtime is time and a half after 45 hours per week. Full time, 45 hour week, various shifts available.
