We’re looking for a dedicated and highly motivated individual to come and manage our housekeeping operations at Porth Tocyn.

The right person for this position will be hands on and a team player. They will have previous experience in housekeeping and other cleaning roles. Attention to detail is paramount as is the ability to manage stock and liaise with service providers to ensure the smooth operation of our customer services.

As a seasonal business (operating from March through till November) we are looking for someone who can commit to a minimum of 5 days a week (weekends included) working on average 4/5 hours a day from 9:30/10am onwards. Additional hours/work is available should you wish to help on front of house duties during afternoon and evening shifts.

We do have some additional work available in the winter months when we are closed with our self-catering properties along with other renovation projects within the hotel that will require support.

The hotel comprises of 17 individually designed bedrooms, a self-catering cottage and a shepherd’s hut “Ty Cwtch” along with other properties used for staffing accommodation.

As head housekeeper you will be responsible for:

- Ensuring all the communal areas of the hotel are kept to an exacting standard.
- Ensuring all guest bedrooms are serviced, cleaned and maintained. Attention to detail is key.
- Managing stock - linen, bathroom toiletries, cleaning equipment and products
- Managing and training of team members along with being able to motivate individuals to perform at their best
- Reporting of any maintenance requirements in a timely and efficient manner
