**Responsibilities**:

- Provide the participants with the underpinning knowledge for the 5 SQA units to be agreed at outset of training commencement and you will be given a session plan for each unit and additional material to supplement training.
- Deliver all units.
- To review progress of participants on a weekly basis, complete a weekly report and ensure that daily register is completed.
- Carry out an induction on day one of the programme - a member of the PQ Team will be there to assist you on day one of the programme.
- Attend the Information Sessions
- dates to be confirmed.
- To ensure all participants retain any evidence for their SQA Units in their folders.
- Explain and monitor the daily register of attendance. This will be explained prior to programme commencement date.
- Inform PQ Operations Manager of any incidents and course of action taken -responsible for all disciplinary action and PQ need to be informed prior to any actions and PQ Operations Manager will guide if required.
- Tutor Hours of work are 9.30am to 3.30pm daily.
- Tutor week is Monday to Wednesday - Monday is online remote using zoom from your home and Tuesday and Wednesday is in the partner business
- Trainee Hours on training are between 9.30am to 3.30pm (bus times need to be taken into consideration when agreeing start and finish times.)
- During Work Experience Trainee Hours in the Partner business are to be agreed but no more than 30hrs per week. Between 08.00am to 10.00pm.
- You will be working with no more than 15 participants at a time.
- All training allowances will be organised by PQ (Training allowances are payable to participants only).
- Any issues or concerns please get in touch with PQ.
- A visit to the Partner business to meet key people will take place after the Assessment day.
- All participants will attend Partner business induction with HR from the partner business who will deliver this to all participants usually on the last week prior to moving into their department for work experience.
- All paper work and training material will be supplied prior to training.
- Any additional equipment required will be supplied as long as you notify PQ in the first instance and allow enough time to get it to the Partner business to enable you to deliver this programme.
