**IT Security Consultant - NCSC Cloud Security Principles / TOGAF / CISSP / PKI / OWASP / CIS - total package £100k+**

This is a hybrid role which will require 2 days a week onsite in London or another office base in the West Midlands. You’ll need to be eligible for SC clearance

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Security Consultant to join their team. You will review HLD and LLD designs and help setup the security by design process. The consultant will work closely with the customers security teams and will represent security at design and government meetings.

**An overview of your responsibility**
- Recommend security controls and identify solutions that support a business objective.
- Provide specialist advice and recommend approaches across teams and various stakeholders.
- Communicate widely with other stakeholders.
- Advise on important security-related technologies and assess the risk associated with proposed changes.
- Inspire and influence others to execute security principles.
- Help review other people’s work.
- You will also be responsible for the security by design process as well as reviewing HLD and LLD documentation to ensure that the correct security controls are in place.

Your engagements will be consulting-led, focused on understanding the customers’ business, building trust and providing cyber security expertise across security architecture, product selection and detailed design.
- **Experience You’ll Need**

Sound Knowledge of Cloud Security and NCSC Cloud Security Principles
- TOGAF, CISSP or relevant qualification.
- Must have expert knowledge in reviewing security designs and implementing security controls.
- Knowledge of PKI will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of F5 firewalls will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of OWASP, CIS, ISO27001 frameworks.
- Knowledge of Mobile Telecommunication Network will be an advantage.**What You’ll Get**

**Salary**: £80,000.00-£86,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- NCSC: 5 years (preferred)
- TOGAF: 3 years (preferred)
- banking, telecoms or public sector: 5 years (preferred)
