We are currently looking for motivated individuals with a mechanical aptitude to join the team at our Plenmeller site based in
Haltwhistle Northumberland UK, where we use Blow Moulding Technology to specialise in the production of plastic products for the consumer and chemical industry.

You will be working within a small team of Technicians and Operators who are responsible for running and maintaining our blow moulding machines. The purpose of this role is to monitor and adjust machines to drive efficiency and product quality, whilst adhering to product specifications and Health, Safety and Hygiene policies and procedures.

You will be required to work 2 x 12 Hour Days, 2 x 12 Hour Nights, 2 days off (Repeat 4 times and then 10 days off).

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ensure that everyone works in a safe manner, ensuring compliance at all times with Company policy and procedures regarding Health and Safety, standards of product, quality, housekeeping and hygiene.
- Always comply with appropriate PPE requirements.
- Carrying out only those tasks which the job holder is competent, trained and/or qualified to perform, unless supervised by fully trained personnel.
- Complete all necessary checks and paperwork, as and when required.
- Keep product quality to products work order specifications.
- Work closely with auditors on any production issues.
- Maintain machine efficiency.
- Complete relevant checks on ancillary equipment and record when necessary.
- Carry out general housekeeping duties as/when required
- Report all hazards by filling in the hazard book
- Follow all safe working procedures
- Work as part of a team to achieve production targets.

**Salary**

Training Rate starting from £25,443.60 rising to £31,646.16 per annum once fully competent.

**Experience and Skills Required**
- Experience of working within the plastic packaging industry is not required as full training will be provided.
- Although not essential, experience of working within a manufacturing environment would be an advantage.

Pay: From £27,037.92 per year
