**CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER - 2 days per week. £250 - £350 per day**

The Movement Centre (TMC) is a UK charity and specialist treatment centre based in Oswestry, Shropshire. The centre is dedicated to supporting children and their families living with movement difficulties by providing a specialist children's physiotherapy called Targeted Training Therapy to help children gain movement control.

As the Chief Executive Officer, you will play a vital role in the leadership and development of the organisation. Leading and managing a committed team of five staff, and working directly with our trusted suppliers, ensuring that the Centre runs smoothly. You will seek overall strategic direction from the Board of Trustees and will utilise this in the everyday running of the centre. You will also provide regular reports to the Board of Trustees and attend meetings as appropriate.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- To develop, plan and implement the strategic direction for TMC in conjunction with the Board of Trustees and working closely with the TMC Management team
- To set and outline clear objectives and goals for the clinical and fundraising teams
- Ensure all teams are equipped to focus and deliver on strategic objectives and goals, and to regularly monitor
- To ensure the centre runs effectively and smoothly
- Management of staff
- Finance - linking between Treasurer & Bookkeeper
- Governance - ensure all constitutional and legal requirements are met in line with The Charity Commission

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**
- 2 years experience in a Centre management role or equivalent, managing people and operations
- Experience in operations and administration management and relevant systems
- Experience in managing and supporting staff
- Experience with managing finances and finance processes
- Experience with facilities management, including managing maintenance and Health & Safety processes and requirements
- Extensive experience in high quality customer service
- Effective working with a range of institutions and professionals and demonstrable experience in collaborative working
- Good knowledge of training/education environments (desirable)
- Experience working for/with a training, education and/or therapy provider(desirable)
- Experience contributing to operational, financial and organisational planning and strategy (desirable)

- Good practical understanding of data protection and confidentiality
- Experience of working well within a multidisciplinary team (desirable)
