This is an exciting opportunity to join our Primary Care Screening Department, based at Law House.

The post holder will assist in the management and maintenance of the population screening programmes for NHS Lanarkshire e.g. Child Health, SIRS, SCCRS, AAA, Vision Screening and any other screening programme which meet local need. The postholder will also be required to ensure that all screening programmes are updated and maintained accurately and regularly. This will involve producing reports and data as required by management and key stakeholder through the Business Object programme, as well as assisting in the testing and implementation of new screening programmes or systems as per local and national directives when required.
- HNC/HND Business Administration or significant equivalent experience required
- Staff management would be advantageous

**Knowledge, training and / or / experience required to d**o the job**:

- Extensive administration experience within an administration and/or clerical role.
- Experience of working within a healthcare setting would be advantageous
- Excellent Communication Skills, IT Skills, Time Management Skills, Organisational Skills
- Must have good problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a very busy environment
- Must be able to demonstrate highly developed interpersonal and communication skills due to the complexity of the programmes within Screening Services, the wide variety of staff groups involved and the need to motivate and persuade staff to function effectively as a team
- Ability to liaise with different personalities and have the ability to work autonomously
- Knowledge of NHS policies, systems, processes and procedures
- Working knowledge of general office procedures
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work autonomously
- Excellent/Advanced Numeracy skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Must be able to work closely as a team whilst being able to work alone when required
- Ability to work to demanding deadlines
