**Payroll Apprentice**

Concept Resources are proud to be working with a Civil Engineering company who are offering an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join their Payroll department as a Payroll Apprentice. The purpose of the role will be to assist the team with all administrative duties in line with business requirements.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Assist with the preparation, processing and administration of weekly and monthly payroll, complying with contractual and statutory obligations, including:

- New starters, Leavers, Contract amendments, Pensions, Expenses
- Process court orders and statutory payments.
- Coordinate with the HR Department to ensure accurate employee data.
- Collect, process and reviews weekly payments for Hudson Contract Services.
- Check any anomalies with Payroll manager/ Site Management Team.
- Audit and rectify errors prior to processing.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Any other ad hoc duties to support the Payroll Department or Payroll Manager

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 7 GCSE’s (Grades A-C / 9-4).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and discretion.

**Desirable**
- 3 A Levels (Grades A-C)
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and HMRC requirements.
- Experience with payroll programs.
- Experience in accounting / payroll.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,000.00 per year
