Aphrodite is an independent menswear retailer based in Sunderland and sell worldwide through our online store. Our store located in Sunderland City Centre now commands over 5,000sq ft of floor space over 3 floors. As official stockists of brands such as Stone Island, Moncler and Canada Goose, we are one of the leading names in men’s fashion.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Ecommerce Photographer / Editor to join our busy photography studio. You will be responsible for supporting our ecommerce team in shooting the new product arrivals on a daily basis.

There will be ad-hoc opportunities to take part in shoots with models, as well as regular creative shoots for social media. Your image editing skills should be good, with a keen eye for detail.

If you have experience or a desire to learn videography, it puts you at an immediate advantage due to the growing demand for video on the web.

**YOUR ROLE**
- Reporting to the Senior Photographer, you will be responsible for completing your daily set tasks
- Ensure the products are shot to a high standard on/off mannequin for use on our website
- Shoot the garments as accurately as possible to limit the amount of post-editing needed
- Show your understanding of fashion / menswear by working with the Senior Photographer / content team to produce ideas for creative shoots
- Image editing ecommerce photos and creative shoots. Clipping masks, masking, colour correction and cloning are all essential skills
- Some admin tasks involved after each shoot
- Shooting video on a DSLR for use on the likes of Youtube and short form video channels such as Instagram / Tiktok
- Able to work closely with a model to give direction
- Understand how to use lighting setups to reach the desired effect
- Ensuring photography equipment is kept in optimal working order
- Able to keep a tidy workspace

**SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Experience using editing software such as Capture One, Photoshop or Lightroom
- Previous experience of setting up studio lighting is essential
- Excellent communication skills to build relationships
- Self-motivated, detail orientated and willing to go the extra mile
- Able to bring new ideas to the studio
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Have a strong keen eye for detail
- Someone who is interested in fashion / menswear
- Eager to learn and be able to take critique constructively
