Senior Buyer

As the **Senior Buyer** you will be working in a fast-paced and guest-facing business, part of a dynamic team, responsible for all elements of maintenance across the company to ensure products are always operating safely and effectively.
- Support and assist the Procurement Manager with implementing and achieving procurement strategies
- Support and deliver procurement objectives, and proactively support the development of the procurement function
- Work with the Procurement Manager, to ensure the successful delivery of contracted activities, identifying continuous improvement opportunities through engagement with suppliers and stakeholders, maximising value for money and reducing hidden costs
- A good understanding of electronic components, with the ability to cross-refer. Explore data sheets for alternative parts where necessary and assist the buyers to solve sourcing challenges.
- Assist with training of new members and continuous development of existing employees

- Experience of managing multiple projects, often complex, simultaneously; ideally within a supply chain and manufacturing environment
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- IT Skills - An aptitude for using work systems and an ability to train others. Intermediate ability with Microsoft Office programmes and ERP/MRP.
- Good knowledge of electronic component part numbering
- Experience managing and supporting a team
