An exceptional and rare opportunity has arisen within our clients highly reputable Energy & Renewable team for either a Solicitor or Senior Solicitor. Based in London, this highly successful & established firm undertakes a varied spectrum of legal matterswithin the energy space.

Our client embodies a true meritocratic environment, with an unobstructed career development path this role would suit an ambitious property and renewable energy professional to work with those that demonstrate a genuine custodian esk mind-set for theirclients matters.

Role Responsibilities

The scope of this opportunity is varied, our client works in a collaborative manner across the team at all levels so responsibilities would include (but not limited to):

- Drafting and negotiating documents such as exclusivity agreements, options and leases for developers and landowners.
- Carrying out due diligence on existing projects for investors and funders.
- Assisting clients involved in the renewable supply chain and generally supporting clients with their legal requirements in this fast-moving industry.
- This role would suit a solicitor working in an energy role and looking to move to one of London's leading firms, or a solicitor with a commercial, domestic, or rural property background and wishing to transfer into a dynamic and growing industry.

Person Specification

Ideally you will be a qualified Solicitor with 1-4 years PQE in property and/or energy & renewables. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are key as is being an excellent team player with a strong attention to detail and exceptional organisationskills. Equally, if you are NQ with a specialised two year training contract within a property and/or energy department this would potentially be an excellent opportunity to further develop your career in an accelerated manner.
