Caretaker/cleaner

**Duties Include (but not limited to)**:

- Daily cleaning of floors and surfaces in canteens, communal areas, offices, toilets, etc.
- Disposal of rubbish bins from offices and communal areas.
- To carry out deep cleans as and when required.
- General repairs and maintenance on site as required, in line with all local Health and Safety requirements.
- Ensure the general appearance of the buildings and grounds areas are maintained according to the required standards.
- Contribute to risk awareness and report issues where appropriate when carrying out duties.
- Maintaining outside grounds as required.
- Document actions by completing forms and logs for work to be done and work completed.
- Maintain the facilities by performing minor repairs to the buildings and grounds.
- Completes repairs by providing plumbing, bulb replacement, touch up painting of both inside and outside building, some minor electrical repairs.

- Willingness to complete all aspects of cleaning tasks
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic individual
- Good organisational skills to manage own workload
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to undertake minor repairs and maintenance
- Previous experience of cleaning and caretaking

**Hours of work**:
Monday - Thursday 09:00 - 17:30 (with 15 min paid break and 30 min unpaid break)

Friday 09:00 - 14:30 (with 20 min paid break)

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

- Nottinghamshire, NG16 6LE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- Commercial cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
