**Duties**:
- Plan and prepare meals according to the menu and dietary requirements
- Oversee and coordinate the work of kitchen staff
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet high standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook or chef in a professional kitchen
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating delicious meals
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
**Salary**: £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
