**Bus Driver | Swavesey, Cambridge | Various Shift Patterns | £28,000 - £31,000 per annum**

Our client is a very well established and successful local company with a fantastic reputation within the local community.

The business has expanded and the company now have vacancies for already qualified PCV Bus Drivers to operate local bus services from the depot in Swavesey, Cambridge.

You will be expected to work various shift patterns as determined by the rota and some weekend working and/or late duties.

The employer is also interested to hear from qualified PCV drivers who may wish to join the team of casual ad-hoc bus/coach drivers.

**Are you the right person for the job?**
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Must hold a valid PCV Licence with no more than 3 penalty points
- Previous bus/coach driving experience
- You will be reliable, flexible, conscientious, customer focussed and be a smooth, calm driver
- Excellent people and communication skills with the ability to deal with people effectively and with ease
- Experience in willingly delivering excellent customer service

**What will your role as a Bus Driver look like?**
- Ensure that the vehicle is maintained, clean, tidy, swept and mopped at the conclusion of duty when the vehicle is parked away from the depot
- Maintain an awareness of and observation of Fire and Health and Safety Regulations
- Comply with all company policies including the Safety and Environmental Policy Statements and Drugs and Alcohol Policy
- To undertake the first use, walk round check of your vehicle and full compliance with the defect procedure
- Report all accidents, unsafe acts and conditions to the line manager immediately
- Comply with any H&S instruction and ensure that all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used when issued including High Visibility clothing
- Set an example by carrying out your duties in a safe and professional manner and ensuring that you do not put yourself or others at risk
- Comply with drivers’ hours regulations whether Domestic or EU
