We are looking for a hardworking and conscientious individual to join our small team as a post-function cleaner

Reporting to the hall manager, our cleaners are responsible for "the morning after the night before", and if coming into an empty building that hosted a party for a hundred people and turning a daunting mess into perfect order is for you, we want to hear from you.

Previous experience is not required, as training will be given.

Duties include;
- Remove any rubbish from the hall
- vacuum all carpets
- sweep (and mop if needed) all hard surfaces
- Clean all tables and return to their proper places
- Wipe down all woodwork
- Thoroughly clean Ladies, Gents and Disabled Toilets
- Facilitate guests collecting their belongings from the previous evening

Typical shifts are;
- Saturday/Sunday 8:30am-noon
- Monday 3.5 hours to suit your schedule between 8am and 5pm

Pay £10.42/hr regardless of age. Pay rates are increased annually from 1st April.

We employ two cleaners, and the available shifts are divided equally, giving typically 3-5 shifts per month. Shifts are allocated in advance, accounting for planned leave, but on occasion you could be asked to provide cover for colleague sickness at short notice.

If you are looking for additional hours, we are also happy to consider you for Bar/Waiting shifts, and in particular we are always looking for staff to work occasional midweek daytime shifts to cover funerals.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
