We are looking to recruit Specialist Speech and Language Therapists with a passion for working with children within our speech and language pathway, including a focus on DLD. We are happy to consider both existing Band 5 and Band 6 applicants for this position. Full or part time hours available. This post is working across Nottingham City and County, with a focus on children and young people with Developmental Language Disorder.

You will be part of a large, dynamic and supportive team of SLT's, who will ensure you have an enjoyable, rewarding and successful transition into the service. We are looking for an SLT with enthusiasm for working with this client group. Ongoing support and supervision will be tailored to your previous experience. The Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Service provides support to children and young people with a whole range of communication difficulties, including eating and swallowing difficulties across Nottingham City and County.

This post involves supporting children in a variety of locations, including clinics, early years settings, mainstream schools and home. The service also uses telephone and video appointments as part of its 'blended approach'. We offer good support networks, regular supervision, and access to internal training. This is an opportunity to consolidate and develop further skills and expertise in working with children and young people with speech, language and communication needs, including DLD, as well as supporting staff, and the team caseload.

You will have recent experience of assessment and delivering packages of care, in a range of different settings, for children and young people presenting with SLCN, including DLD. A full UK driving license and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
