**Catering Assistant, Springhead 6th Form, Scarborough, North Yorkshire.**

As part of our catering team you will be performing a variety of tasks to help prepare tasty, nutritious meals from locally sourced fresh produce. We are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to transport food products from Lindhead Primary School to Springhead 6th Form School. As a kitchen Assistant your role will be to support the Cook/Catering Manager in delivering an effective catering service operating to the highest standards of food safety. On a daily basis you will be collecting meals from Lindhead School and then transporting them to Springhead School in which you will serve the meals provided for the children, clearing away pots and returning all items back to Lindhead School, and washing the pots form the dinner service. You will be a valued member of our friendly team who is reliable, dependable and committed working from approx., 11.30am to 13.30pm, totalling to 10 hours per week over 5 days. No weekend work You will work term time weeks only however you will receive equal monthly payments throughout the year. You will be paid £11.59 per hour in addition to annual holiday and Bank Holiday entitlement. You will also receive mileage allowance of 45p per mile for travelling.
