Materials Planner

**JOB OVERVIEW**:
This role is responsible for planning replenishment of all raw materials including packaging components to meet API, Pharm and Packaging production plans and maintain inventory at agreed safety stock levels.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Create purchase requisitions for all materials needed for production

- Run missing parts check and create purchase requisitions

- Update materials plan in preparation for the weekly Plan Execution meeting

- Liaise with Master Production Scheduler on any changes to the production or materials plan

- Liaise with internal departments on re-assay of materials

- Review periodically MOQs, lead-times and safety stocks with Procurement and make adjustments where appropriate

- Maintain supplier master data integrity

- Attend daily AET, weekly Plan Execution and monthly Supply Review meetings

**COMPETENCIES**:
- Experienced in materials planning

- Experienced in SAP PP module

- cGMP and cGDP trained

- Highly effective communication skills in all forms

- Highly organized with an ability to work effectively to deadlines

- A high attention to detail with an ability to follow through on commitments

- Strong numeracy and IT skills including intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word
