Job title - Service Manager Sickle Cell and Thalassemia Service
The Nurse Associate will have a responsibility for actively participating as part of the Community Nursing Team, to provide a seamless service to adults and their families both in their homes and designated care settings with proximal supervision from a Registered Nurse.
The post holder will assist in the identification of health needs and participate in the delivery and evaluation of care packages developed to meet those needs under the indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse. The post holder will continue to develop and undertake a range of delegated tasks including the administration of medication and will report to a Registered Nurse. The post holder will work as part of the Community Sickle Cell & Thalassaemia Team providing health promotion, health education to adults and their families.
