Murray McIntosh are working on behalf of a key client to source a FEA/CFD Engineer to start work on a contract basis as detailed below:
You will be working as part of the Systems Engineering team carrying out various CFD & FEA related activities. CFD is the first priority.

**Requirements**:

- Underbonnet CFD: 3D analysis of engine bay allowing inflows and outflows to be visualised as driven by the engine cooling fan.
- 3D CAD is available but the successful applicant will need to clean up
- Previous experience with Altair Hyperworks CFD would be ideal, similar considered
- Outputs must include flows through each heat exchanger in the system.
- Various fans and fan speeds must be simulated.
- Air filter housing CFD.
- Exhaust system CFD.
- Structural FEA on various components including engine mounts, fan mounts, compressor mounts, exhaust mounts. Linear analysis is sufficient.

This role will be based on site.
